Since 2016, Meat Science Journal has been recognizing outstanding contributions from young scientists (35 years old or younger) at the biennial International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST). This year, awards (n = 2) for the best short paper and oral presentation will be determined by a panel consisting of the Editors and Editorial Board members of Meat Science. To be eligible for these awards, kindly specify whether you agree to give an 'oral' presentation when submitting your short paper. Please note that indicating a preference for a 'poster' presentation you will not be eligible to participate in this award”

The Institute of AgriFood Research and Technology (IRTA) this year will award the best poster from young scientists (35 years old or younger) at the 71^st International Congress of Meat Science and Technology (ICoMST) that will be held in Girona. A panel of international respected meat scientists will evaluate the short papers and posters considering scientific and technological excellence and the impact of the work in the meat science community. To be eligible, please specify that you apply for the award when submitting your short paper, the paper will only be eligible if not selected to give an oral presentation.
